Staffordshire cow & milkmaid creamer
Victorian, circa 1860. 7.9ins high, 5.9ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire cow creamer with a pastoral theme which features a cow with a milkmaid, stood on a rectangular base.
Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: small firing pits to her hat;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse.
RESTORATION: Retouched flake to cow's upper lip.
Retouched paint losses to her hair, skirt, shoes, ground and cow's markings.
