Staffordshire Prattware clock watch holder

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 10.2ins high, 6.7ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire Prattware watch holder which features two classical figures either side, stood on a shaped base. Multi-coloured version.



Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.



Vent hole to the underside.

KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;



kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the reverse.



RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to the base.



Filled chips to base edges.







Retouched flakes to crowns.
