Staffordshire Wood and Caldwell Pearlware lion figure
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 4.1ins high, 4.9ins wide, 3ins depth. Wood and Caldwell Staffordshire pearlware figure which features a lion, recumbent on a plinth base.
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside. Maker's marks to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Small, shallow under rim chips not visible when sat on a surface.
Flake to left eyebrow, left ear and mane.
RESTORATION: Retouched flakes to mane, ears and base.
