Pair Staffordshire Dalmatians
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 7.9ins high, 4.3ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a Dalmatian, seated on a cobalt blue base. Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
Right facing: Generally good.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the base;
touch mark to the reverse;
staining to the right front leg;
over glazed shrinkage line to the top of the tail.
RESTORATION: Filled chip to lower base edge.
Retouched paint losses to muzzle.
Left facing: Generally good.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the front of the base.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairline to the Dalmatian's back
and both ankles.
Retouched flake to right ear
and muzzle.
