Miniature Staffordshire recumbent spaniel figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 1.7ins high, 3.4ins wide, 2.1ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features spaniel, recumbent on a rococo base.

Dull gilt base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

A few tiny flakes around the base edge.

Tiny flake to spaniel's ear.

Some paint losses to the spaniel's nose and muzzle.

Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: a few small pieces of kiln detritus caught in the glaze base.
