Pair Staffordshire black&white Disraeli spaniels
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 10ins high, 7.3ins wide, 4.9ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel with Disraeli curls to head, front leg free, seated directly on the ground, no base. Black and white version. Dull gilt collar and locket.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition
Right facing: Good.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: firing pit to the right eye,
front right leg
and to reverse;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the front.
RESTORATION: Retouched paint loss to right eye
and right front paw.
Filled chip to the nose.
Left facing: Generally good.
Two small flakes near to the locket.
Abrasion to nose.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: firing pits to the reverse.
RESTORATION: Remodelled left front paw.
