pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 3.5ins high, 4.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware figure with a pastoral theme which features a ewe and lamb, stood on a shaped base.
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Maker's marks to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Fair.
Flakes to the ground at the reverse,
to the shredded clay
and tiny chip to lamb's left ear.
Some small flakes to the ewe's ears.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the ground;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse.
RESTORATION: Bocage missing and the tree stump to the reverse where it use to be, has been tidied up.
