Victorian, circa 1860. 7.5ins high, 6.9ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase with a hunting theme which features a tiger pursuing a stag, stood on a shaped base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition
Good. Some rubbing to gilt.
Slight wear to front of base.
KILN EFFECTS: one shrinkage crack to the base at reverse and a few shrinkage lines to the underside of the base;
firing flaw to tiger's front left leg.
RESTORATION: Filled flake to stag's nose.
Retouched paint losses to the ground and interior of spill.
