Staffordshire spaniel, pup & kennel figure
Victorian, circa 1860. 3.5ins high, 4.5ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire group which features a spaniel and pup, next to their kennel, recumbent on a shaped base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good.
Two small chips to base edge.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage lines to both the spaniel and pups front legs,
underside and to side of kennel;
small, over glazed chip to the base edge.
RESTORATION: Old restoration to pup's muzzle
and base.
Retouched paint loss to chimney,
door,
ground
and black markings.
