Victorian, circa 1860. 9.1ins high, 6.9ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase with a pastoral theme which features a fox with a bird, stood on an oblong base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Tight hairline to fox's front left ankle.
A few paint losses to fox's nose and tail.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the front and reverse;
notable crazing.
RESTORATION: Filled and retouched chip to the spill rim.
