Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 9.8ins high, 6.7ins wide, 2.2ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire spill vases which feature a fox with a swan in it's mouth, stood on a rectangular base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated only to the front.

CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good. Small flake to one of the leaves and fox's left ear.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage lines to the base.
RESTORATION: Spill reglued and join retouched.
Retouched paint losses to fox's nose.
Left facing: Good. Paint loss to the fox's nose.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the fox's left hind ankle.
RESTORATION: Two stabilised and retouched hairlines to the spill.
Filled chip to one of the leaves.
Retouched paint losses to the fox's coat and ground.
