Staffordshire swan&cygnet spill vase
Victorian, circa 1880. 4.5ins high, 4.3ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase which features a swan and cygnet, resting on a shaped base. Multi-coloured version. Bright gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
Generally good.
Crack to the underside (partly restored).
A few paint losses to inside of spill
and both beaks.
KILN EFFECTS: piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base.
RESTORATION: Old restoration to underside
and tip of swan's wing.
Cygnet's neck reglued and join retouched.
