Small Staffordshire lion&lamb figure group
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.3ins high, 4.9ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a lion and lamb, seated on an oval base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line.
Decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition
Good. No restoration.
Some wear to and scratches to the lion's hind right leg and to the reverse.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the lion's left hind paw;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the underside;
firing hole to the lion's back and right front leg;
over glazed shrinkage line to the lamb's right ear.
