Victorian, circa 1870. Tallest is 9.3ins high, 7.1ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a boy and a girl on horseback/ponies, stood on an oval base.
White and gilt version. Bright gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse.

CONDITION: Male: Good. A few paint losses to ground, hooves and his hair.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
Slight wear to the horse's left ear.
RESTORATION: Retouched paint loss to the muzzle.
Female: Good. Flake to forelock.
A few paint losses to ground, muzzle and girl's hair.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage line around her neck.
RESTORATION: Old restored flakes to mane and ears.
