Pair Staffordshire Jackfield spaniels
Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 13.8ins high, 10.6ins wide, 3.9ins depth.
Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base. Jackfield black version.
Bright gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent holes to reverse and underside.

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration. Rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the muzzle and base edge.
Left facing: Good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the reverse.
