Pair Staffordshire cats with glass eyes
Victorian, circa 1900. Tallest is 12.4ins high, 8.3ins wide, 4.5ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire glass eyed figures which feature a cat, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Ginger version. Bright gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good. Hairline to the left side of head.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: finger print to one paw.
RESTORATION: Filled chip to left ear.
Right facing: Good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt.
Slight wear to the right ear.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to it's face;
finger print to tail.
