Pair of Staffordshire porcellaneous figures which feature spaniels, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Black and white version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Open bottomed.

Condition
Right facing: Generally good. Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the reverse and between hind legs.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to tail.
Retouched paint losses to the dog's markings.
Left facing: Good. Small chip to lower base edge at reverse.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: small specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the dog's face and reverse;
shrinkage line above tail and hind left leg.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to tail.
Retouched paint losses to markings and face.
