Victorian, circa 1860. 7.3ins high, 6.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire castle with a musical theme which features a drummer boy, stood on an oblong base.
Multi-coloured version.
Purple lustre embellishment.
Flatback, decorated only to the front.

Condition
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Some small flakes to lower base edge
and shredded clay.
A few paint losses to blue enamel.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to rim of window on left tower;
a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the reverse.
