Large Matched Pair Staffordshire cats with glass eyes
Victorian, circa 1890. Tallest is 13ins high, 7.1ins wide, 8.7ins depth.
Pair of Staffordshire glass eyed figures which feature a cat, seated directly on the ground, no base.
We think they have possibly been matched up together at some stage because they both face the same direction. However, we feel they display very well together. Grey version.
Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside.
Book reference not found.
