Pair Staffordshire spaniel spill vases

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 13.5ins high, 7.3ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire spill vases which feature spaniels, seated on an oval base.



Russet and white version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.









Flatback, decorated only to the front.

Small flake to spill rim



and one ear.



Slight wear to reverse.





KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to nose.



RESTORATION: minor retouched paint losses to ears, muzzle,





russet markings and ground;









filled chip to lower base edge;



retouched flakes to locket.



Left facing: Good.

Slight wear to reverse and spill rim.
