Staffordshire Cockerel/Rooster figure
Victorian, circa 1860. 8.5ins high, 5.5ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Staffordshire figure with a pastoral theme which features a cockerel/rooster, stood on a shaped base. Multi-coloured version.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to front of base
and to chest.
RESTORATION: Reattached head and beak.
Filled chip to two claws on right foot.
Retouched flakes and paint losses to black enamel of body
and to comb.
