recumbent on a highly decorated watch holder base.
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
This piece represents part of the Roman myth of Romulus and Remus, twin brothers who were saved and suckled by a she-wolf.

CONDITION: Good.
Slight wear to the wolf's back.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze accumulation to the watch holder.
Shrinkage crack to Remus' right shoulder.
RESTORATION. Remodelled Romulus' right foot.
Filled chips to wolf's right ear and chip to lower base edge.
