Pair Staffordshire spaniels with bows jug/pitchers
Victorian, circa 1870. Tallest is 7.9ins high, 5.9ins wide, 3ins depth.
Pair of Staffordshire jug/pitchers which feature a spaniel with a bow, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Russet and white version. Bright gilt embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
Right facing: Generally good. A few paint losses to tail.
Some rubbing to gilt.
RESTORATION: Handle reglued and join retouched.
Muzzle and bow have been retouched.
Filled chips to curls on handle.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.
Left facing: Good. Paint losses to right eye and tail.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to the reverse rim.
RESTORATION: Filled chips to curls on handle and to spout.
