Pair Staffordshire grey cats with glass eyes
Edwardian, circa 1910. Tallest is 12.2ins high, 7.9ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Pair of Bo'ness Staffordshire figures which feature a cat with glass eyes, seated directly on the ground, no base. Grey version. Bright gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
Maker's marks registration number molded into underside.

Condition
Right facing: Very good. Some rubbing to gilt.
Slight wear to its nose.
RESTORATION: Original glass eyes have been refitted.
Left facing: Very good. Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to left front paw;
finger print under cat's chin.
