Staffordshire Pearlware Dandies group
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.9ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware group which features 'Dandies' - a well dressed lady and gent standing arm in arm, stood on a circular base.
Multi-coloured version.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Open bottomed.

Condition
Generally good. Small flake to the collar of his jacket and flakes to lower base edge.
Slight wear to her jacket.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the ground;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the her jacket.
RESTORATION: Filled chip to his hat.
Retouched paint loss to his hat, shoes and jacket.
