Staffordshire Pearlware Ceres figure
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 10.2ins high, 4.3ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware figure with a mythological theme which features the Roman goddess,
Ceres, holding a cornucopia of fruit, stood on a square base.
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good.
Some small flakes to base edge.
A few paint losses to her head piece
and fruit.
Some wear to her right arm,
chin and nose.
RESTORATION. Some paint flakes retouched.
Restored chips to base corners and hem of cloak.
