Pair Staffordshire stag&hound spill vases
Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 11.4ins high, 9.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth.
Pair of Staffordshire spill vases which feature a hound pursuing a stag, stood on a rectangular base. Multi-coloured version. Bright gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration. A few paint losses to stag's and dog's sides, stag's muzzle and to ground.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the reverse.
Left facing: Good. No restoration. A few paint losses to stag's muzzle and side and dog's side.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack under the stag's chin.
