Staffordshire Pearlware sheep & lamb spill vase

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.3ins high, 5.5ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware spill vase with a pastoral theme which features a ram,
a ewe and a lamb, recumbent on a shaped base.



Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

CONDITION: Generally good.

One chip to red flower.



A few paint losses to ground,



spill at reverse and flowers.









RESTORATION: Spill branch above ewe reglued and join retouched.





Retouched paint losses to spills and ground.









Filled chip to lamb's nose.
