Staffordshire Pearlware sheep
Pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 4.7ins high, 6.7ins wide, 3.5ins depth . Staffordshire pearlware figure which features a sheep, recumbent on a shaped hollow base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Small flake to bottom lip of sheep.
Some flakes to base edge and underside, and to the sheep's left front hoof.
KILN EFFECTS: staining to sheep's face;
notable crazing.
RESTORATION. Remodelled left ear. Retouching to right ear.
Retouching to the ground at reverse.
