Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 5.9ins high, 3.2ins wide, 3.2ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures with a royalty theme which feature Queen Victoria and Prince Albert
each seated on a throne, on a square base.



Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.









Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.



Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Queen Victoria: Generally good.

A few paint losses to the throne.







Slight rubbing to gilt.



Some wear to base.







KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to her left hand.



RESTORATION. Remodelled right hand.



Neck reglued and join retouched.





Filled chips to her crown.





Retouched flake to her nose.



Retouched paint loss to her hair.





Prince Albert: Generally good.

Small chips to the lower base edge.









Abrasion to his nose.



Some wear to his legs



and base.







Slight rubbing to gilt.



RESTORATION: Old restoration to corner of base, which has not been glazed.





Retouched paint loss to green jacket,



robe and reverse of chair.
