Minton Secessionist Purple No. 1 vase

Circa 1910. 9.5ins high by 3.5ins wide. Minton Secessionist No.1 vase. Wave effect tube linings in dark green with blue glaze inbetween. Purple glaze to ground with further 'bubble' effect tube linings in dark green running around vase in two bands with cream glaze inside.



Printed maker's marks 'MINTONS LTD' and 'No.1' to base, also impressed mark '3337'.

Condition

Generally good.

Kiln effects: Glaze run to the cream glaze.





RESTORATION: Section of rim reglued with associated crack stabilised and retouched.





Filled chip to base.
