1855 Small Beadwork on paper Sampler

Victorian, dated 1855. 3.75ins high by 6.5ins wide. 1855 Beadwork on paper Sampler. Framed in an old wood frame with glass.

Fixed with adhesive (to corners only) to paper with wood backing.

The sampler is worked beadwork on paper ground. Meandering leafy border.

Colours blue.

Dated '1855'.

CONDITION: Good. One tiny hole to the paper ground.

Three patchy stains to the top left corner.

No bead loss. Frame showing some wear, but is structurally sound and in our opinion could be hung 'as is'.
