Mounted to conservator standards on acid free card with chipboard backing.
The sampler is worked in silk on linen ground, in cross stitch throughout.
Decorated zig zag border.
Colours greens, cream, blue, browns and grey.
Alphabets A-Z in upper case and lower case and numbers 1-25.

A wonderful set of motifs, some finely embroidered, including birds perched in treetops, complete with baby birds in a nest below,
angels,
flowers,
birds,
potted flowering plants,
fir tree,
blossoming trees,
butterflies,
trees, laden with fruit
and a recumbent lamb titled 'Innocence'.
CONDITION: Generally Good.
A number of holes.
A few pale stain specks.
No stitch losses other than to the holed areas.
Colours are mostly good and strong with no noticeable fading.
No colour run.
Stretching is very slightly uneven.
Frame in very good condition, ready to hang.
