Wedgwood Dragon lustre footed bowl

Circa 1910. 5.75ins high, 8.75ins diameter. Wedgwood dragon lustre footed bowl. 'Antique Center' shape no. 2454. Light blue mottled exterior decorated with two celestial dragons and flames. Gilt border around the rim and foot rim. Mother of pearl interior decorated with a fire breathing dragon and 'Sacred Pearl with flames' motifs. Gilt aquatic bead around the inside of the rim.













Wedgwood 'Portland vase' maker's mark inside the foot along with painted marks.

Condition

Generally good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt.





Light scratches from use.







KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the blue glaze;





glaze pops to the interior.
