Rare Wedgwood Majolica bull compote

Victorian, circa 1874. 3ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica compote which features a bull.



Colouration: green, cream, brown, are predominant.



The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, 'M.1602.D.'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Light scratches from use.





KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
