Rare Wedgwood Majolica tiger plate
Victorian, circa 1874. 9.2ins high, 9.2ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features a tiger.
Colouration: cobalt blue, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, 'M.1602.B.'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

Condition
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Light scratches from use.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to the rim.
