Rare Wedgwood Majolica hound plate

Victorian, circa 1872. 9.3ins high, 9.3ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features a hound.



Colouration: green, cream, brown, are predominant.



The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, 'W.1602.E.'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1872.

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Some small flakes to rim.
