Victorian, circa 1870. 2.6ins high, 17.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth. George Jones Majolica platter which features a zucchini/courgette leaf and flowers.



Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.



The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

CONDITION: Good. Small chip to flower on handle.



Some small flakes to rim.









Wear to the high points of the molding.









KILN EFFECTS: piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.



RESTORATION: Filled chips to flower on handle and to rim.
