Wedgwood Majolica bird nest salt

Victorian, circa 1877. 3.5ins high, 5.5ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica salt which features a bird perched on it's nest.

Colouration: brown, grey, turquoise, are predominant.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1877.

Abrasion to beak.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze miss to the rim.

RESTORATION: Right wing reglued and join retouched.

Retouched flakes to tail feathers.
