Set 6 Small Wedgwood Majolica cauliflower side plates

Mid 20thC, circa 1955. 6.5ins high, 6.5ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica set of six side plates which features cauliflower leaves on a cauliflower textured ground.





Colouration: green and creamy yellow, are predominant.



The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1955.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Light scratches from use (plate 2).



KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the rim (plate 1);



glaze accumulation to the interior (plate 2);



tiny over glazed shrinkage line to the rim (plate 5).
