Wedgwood Majolica cauliflower plate

Mid 20thC, circa 1954. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1.1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features cauliflower leaves on a cauliflower textured ground.



Colouration: green, cream, are predominant.



The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1954.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Very slight wear to rim and interior.









KILN EFFECT: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the border and rim.
