Majolica Cockatoo basket

Victorian, circa 1890. 6.7ins high, 7.1ins wide, 7.9ins depth. Majolica basket which features cockatoos and birds with an entwined branch handle.

Colouration: ochre, cobalt blue, pink, are predominant.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Flaking to the rim.

KILN EFFECTS: two shrinkage lines to the handle;

glaze run to the cobalt glaze.
