Wedgwood Majolica leaves in basket platter
Victorian, circa 1870. 8.9ins high, 10.9ins wide, 1.5ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica platter which features four large leaves in a basket.
Colouration: ochre, green, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
Tiny 1mm chip to the under rim, not visible from front.
Wear to interior and underside.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze;
a few overglazed touch marks to the interior.
