Forester Majolica stork & bamboo garden seat

Victorian, circa 1880. 20.9ins high, 13ins wide, 13ins depth. Forester Majolica garden seat which features storks stood on rocky ground with bamboo decoration. Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, green, white, are predominant.

Good. No restoration.

Bruise to the lower bamboo border.



Scratches and wear from use to the seat.





Wear to the high points of the molding.







KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to underside;





shrinkage crack along the mold join;









glaze run to the cobalt blue glaze.
