Majolica corn on the cob bread platter
Victorian, circa 1870. 10.8ins high, 13ins wide, 2.1ins depth. Majolica platter which features corn on the cob and leaves on a basket weave ground.
Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Some flaking around the rim and one to the interior.
Some wear to the interior and high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the green leaves.
RESTORATION: filled chip to the rim.
