Large Majolica Cockerel/Rooster stick stand
Victorian, circa 1900. 29.9ins high, 21.3ins wide, 12.6ins depth. Majolica stick or umbrella stand which features a large cockerel/rooster.
Colouration: green, ochre, blue, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, 'h686'.

Condition
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage lines
and kiln grit caught in the glaze throughout the piece.
RESTORATION: Tip of comb and three claws on right foot reglued and joins retouched.
One claw on right foot remodelled.
Filled chips to both spurs,
ground,
base edge
and beak.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to left ankle.
Retouched flake to second lowest tail feather.
