Holdcroft Majolica heron & bulrushes wall pocket

descVictorian, circa 1870. 13ins high, 7.7ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica wall pocket which features a heron stood in front of reeds/bulrushes.







Colouration: green, cobalt blue, white, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Small flake to rim.



RESTORATION. Leaves to the bottom reglued and join retouched.



Remodelled top section above hanging hole, tip of beak and tip of one bulrush.







Filled chips to bottom leaf, wings and rim.
