Victorian, circa 1870. 9.8ins high, 4.3ins wide, 6.7ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica jug/pitcher which features a bear holding a drum and drumsticks behind his head.
Colouration: brown, turquoise, cobalt blue, are predominant.

CONDITION: Generally good. Flake to both ears and lower lip.
Some wear to base edge and nose.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to the rim;
small firing pits to the ochre rim and bear;
notable crazing to drum;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the exterior;
