Majolica putti with grapes compote

Victorian, circa 1880. 10.7ins high, 7.3ins wide, 7.3ins depth. Majolica compote which features two putti holding grapes.

Colouration: brown, cream, ochre, are predominant.

CONDITION: Generally good. Hairline to rim.

Some flakes to the rim, interior and cup.

Staining from use.

RESTORATION: Filled chips to fingers and toes.

Retouched shrinkage crack to one putti's neck and other putti's right wrist.

Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.

Retouched flakes to rim.
