Gustafsberg Majolica owl spill vase

Victorian, circa 1880. 7.1ins high, 5ins wide, 4.6ins depth. Gustafsberg Majolica posy holder which features an owl perched on a tree branch.

Colouration: brown, green, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Gustafsberg pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Some flakes to tree stump and base edges.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the base.

RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to front of base.

Retouched flake to both ears.

Filled chip to underside.
